Missed the mark

I was so disappointed in this book! It wasn’t awful, but it just wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be. I can’t really put my finger on why. I didn’t love the journey I guess. The boyfriend and being cheated (not by Hunter)on bugged me a lot! I was hoping for more from Hunter’s story. We have waited so long to get it. It’s still good and if you love Elle Kennedy and these characters it’s definitely worth it. I listened on audible and did not love the female narrator.

Love these books.

I love the way Elle brings some humor to these stories. The stories invoke drama with humor that I find refreshing.

Loved it

this is the first romance book i’ve ever read that i actually laughed so hard at. specifically the scene in the beginning where hunter is at the team meeting and they’re asking the coach for a pig. when the coach brings out an egg instead and one of his teammates goes “uh coach.. i think that’s an egg?” i lost it. i don’t know why it made me laugh so hard but i had to pause the book.

Good Story

The overall story is a good story, I really enjoy college/sports romance. I did have a slight problem with the Ana Osorio's narration, not that she didn't do a great job narrating Demi, I didn't enjoy her male narration, I didn't really hear much variation in the voices going between Demi and Hunter, or even TJ, I also wasn't sure if the accent for Demi was real or not, it felt to forced as well sometimes you could hear it and sometimes you couldn't. That is the only somewhat negative critique that I have other than that I enjoyed the humor and bantor and character pairing.

The play

This one just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t really connect
to Demi and only slightly dod with Hunter. I did enjoy it more towards the end but it was to little to late.
