NYPD detective Jack Kanon is on a tour of Europe's most gorgeous cities. But the sights aren't what draw him--he sees each museum, each cathedral, and each restaurant through a killer's eyes.

Kanon's daughter, Kimmy, and her boyfriend were murdered while on vacation in Rome. Since then, young couples in Paris, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, and Stockholm have become victims of the same sadistic killers. Now Kanon teams up with the Swedish reporter, Dessie Larsson. Every killing is preceded by a postcard to the local newspaper--and Kanon and Larsson think they know where the next victims will be. With relentless logic and unstoppable action, THE POSTCARD KILLERS may be James Patterson's most vivid and compelling thriller yet.

Another great read by Patterson and Marklund. Can't wait for another book by this talented team.

There seems to be a pattern forming with some of the popular authors. They are getting unabridged prices for books that should really be sold as abridged. I also agree that Patterson does better by himself. At first I was upset that there are three readers, each reading a couple sections but I got over it and decided that it is, what it is. So many "chapters" are so short they seem like they are only a couple paragraphs long. With that being said, overall I enjoyed the book. It was fairly predictable but then what isn't. Clive Cussler's newest book is being released in a couple days, so maybe he'll have a totally entertaining book that isn't so predictable. The basic motive for the villan(s) doesn't become apparent until about 3/4 of the way through the book. I sound negative but am glad I downloaded and "read" it.

Another abridged, unabridged book that was OK.
