Great book

I didn’t know what to expect as this is my first time reading or listening to one of Sharon Jayne’s books. I was not disappointed. The way the story was read held my attention which I have found challenging with audio books. I actually listened to the ENTIRE book!! I felt very connected as I do when reading a hard copy book. I will definitely check out some of her other books.

Life changing!

Loved this book. You can tell it is a bit old fashion at times, but sometimes that’s what I need! I value the wisdom, transparency and redness of this book. It was so much great reminders and I also learned so much! So grateful for this book! Excited to apply it to every area of my life!

If you can speak, you should listen

This is filled with so much wisdom for anyone with a voice and especially for those privileged to raise a child or teach a child or influence a child; that said, I guess it’s for everyone.
I will listen and listen and listen again until it sinks in enough to break through the human tendencies of selfishness that plague me.🙏🏻

The only aspect of this book I did not care for was when the narrator would change her voice to imitate a mans voice.

Encouraging and convicting

I enjoyed it the convictions as absurd as that sounds. And I rejoiced in the good that I was already doing. Thankful for bold Christian woman who tell it like it is but with grace. I have something’s to work on, for myself and for my family and those around me. Thank you Sharon Jaynes.
