Many Christians have embraced the lie that God doesn't care about their finances—or worse, that desiring prosperity is wrong. But what if the opposite is true? What if God has actually designed you to thrive financially as part of your divine assignment?
In The Power to Prosper, digital evangelist and online pastor Kap Chatfield shows how God uses prosperity as a tool for kingdom purpose. Drawing from Scripture, real-life testimony, and practical strategies, Chatfield equips listeners to reject poverty mindsets, embrace financial breakthrough, and steward wealth for God's glory.
You will discover:
- How to uncover your God-given power to produce wealth.
- The biblical pattern of prosperity as covenant, not corruption.
- Why the enemy targets your finances to hinder your purpose.
- Practical steps to increase your income through generosity and calling.

As someone who grew up not knowing or understanding prosperity I developed a scarcity mindset. Living out of abundance was and still can be foreign to me today. I have spent many years believing financial security was a dream. Not because I didn’t believe that it could happen, but because I don’t know what it looks like. I love that Kap states we don’t have to know what it’s going to look like, we just have to be obedient trusting God is in control. Thank you for reshaping my beliefs on prosperity as I will continue to dive into what God’s word says while also referencing this book!

Throughout the book, he returns to themes of personal responsibility and common sense—principles that often get overlooked. One particularly powerful idea he highlights is how many believers struggle to truly trust God with their finances.
Much of the prosperity teaching from Christian leaders to date hasn’t gone deep enough or offered a clear, foundational framework. This book is different. It provides a structured, thoughtful approach that has been largely missing from the conversation.
A great read!
