This adventure story has everything you could want: a handsome good guy, a pretty heroine, some bad guys, sword fighting, revenge, romance, and of course a happy ending, along with "rodents of unusual size." Join Westley (the plucky farm boy), Buttercup (the beautiful young maiden), Inigo Montoya (the driven, embittered swordsman), Prince Humperdinck (the scheming villain), and many other strange and unusual characters in this swashbuckling tale of good-natured silliness.

Read by Rob Reiner, who directed the motion picture based on this fairy tale adventure.

Seems like all the good parts of the book made it into the film, but not all the good parts of the film came from the book.

Rare case where the movie is better than the book

Although I would almost always say don't judge a book by its movie in this case you could probably be OK. Because the movie contained the most epic sword fight in motion picture history . Read by Rob Reiner who directed the movie, this gives you a true sense of the story. For a change nothing is missed pronounced and the pacing is just right. I did not experience any technical problems with volume or pitch or anything else this audiobook is well worth it.

I don't understand why other reviewer had tech problems
