It isn't offer that a novel's narrator is, unusually, a villain -- one whose acerbic wit and maudlin romantic fantasies, love for her cat, and occasional victimization at the hands of people more twisted than she is, make her just sympathetic enough.
Wonderful, crisp narrative and a fabulous actor performing the novel.
The ending is quite satisfying.

Clever writing and unusual POV

I finished this one in a day while I painted the kitchen. Not being hard to figure out who the 'bad guy' was didn't distract from a great story. Well told with a few twists to keep me on my toes. Love the readers voice and will make note of her name for future selections.

Enjoyable Listen

The relationship of the main character with the woman who killed herself. The relationship between the two so so unreal.

The plot. It was so different with a twist I didn’t see. Evil at it best.

I'm not into English accents when it come to listening to books some are had to hear & understand, however, I really enjoyed this narrator as well as the story.
