The Protectors and the Wave

This was a great story enhanced by Kindle in Motion. A young lady and her sheriff father have relocated to a small midwestern town. The town has a dark secret. Inadvertently, the sheriff has started a wave of killings. Daughter Devon begins to investigate when she looses her boyfriend. A spooky, well written and beautifully narrated thriller.

Good till, the end

Didn't see any mention of a second book I would say a very weak ending...

Creepy?

I borrowed this book with audio from Kindle Unlimited because I really get a kick out of “Kindle-In-Motion” books. I gave the book a little higher rating because I thought the videos and illustrations were good.

The story itself is very YA and I guess on the supernatural side. Pretty simple, nothing profound here, but just a quick short little listen to keep you company while you’re doing something else. I wouldn’t recommend or not recommend this audio portion. It’s just okay. The book itself was fun, and listening to the audio afterwards just kind of reinforces the story and cements it inside your head.

The narrator was fine, no issues there.
