Though I must admit the protagonist references watching it, as well as many other science fiction shows and movies; did not go far, but I still like him.

These are the journal reflections of Lee Günter O’Neil, who has recently learned how to access the supernatural potential available within all free-thinking humans. In cooperation with Dept 1793 a secret government agency that make the deep state look powerless, he has recorded his journey to “power” so that it can be shared when appropriate and, if some tragedy were to occur, the knowledge of how a Western thinking person can achieve usage of the potential all humans share. Originally, this was 69 journals, but they were collected by and cataloged by Dept. 1793, and now you can see how well they were stored in their top-secret facility.
Follow along from Lee’s point of view of how he went from trying to cash in on developing telekinesis at the casino. Like many, he was thinking of getting drunk, paid & laid, and not necessarily in that order. This is a retitling of “The Rules of Magic” even though published before the newer book using the same name. I was told by Amazon I have to change the title because a famous person is now using the title, and it might confuse the customers. The method of being told is the book is pulled from the market and a few days of calls and emails to get the answer that it is now my problem. January 2017 was when I got the ISBN number for this book while the other one was in October 2017. If you are not a billionaire, you can feel my frustration on that one. In fairness I do not have a reason to think that other author of the well-known series with a movie or two associated with it has any knowledge of this or is responsible for the more than annoying waste of my time adjusting things to stay published on the largest book platform. Yes, I have a copy of the DVD of the movie which also has a great soundtrack. It is also a bit more family friendly. In this book, Lee the main character is a bit ruder in his language choices and has more sex. If you have one of the older editions, save it as it is now rare. Tell all your friends to read and buy the new ones so yours becomes even more valuable if you need enlightened self-interest to throw a bone to a starving author.
