When the rebellion raided the compound, Mila's mother Horatia and her soldiers saved them from King's grasp. Now they are on the run. Horatia's forces are leading the group to the only place where they believe safety awaits, the Fallen Paradigm. An uprising that surfaced when King's intentions were made clear. Mila's power grows, and so does her uncertainty as more of the darkness of their world unfolds. Now she knows that there is nowhere left to hide.

This part was so gripping. Filled with action and emotion. I’m starting the next part immediately. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Wonderful sequel

The Narrator really brought the story to life. I usually only notice a narrator when they are noticeably bad. With this narrator I noticed they weren't bad at all but in fact they were great. It is crazy that up until I listened to this audio book, I had never paid the narrator much attention. After the experience I had listening to this book I am afraid I will not be able to ignore anymore sub-par or average narrators any longer. I hadn't realized the difference it could make and what I was missing out on.

I do understand that not every narrator can be as good as this and that people are doing their best when narrating stories, I will try not to turn an audio book away based solely on the narrator, I may however find another medium to enjoy the story, Perhaps I could even entice Valerie Burgess to narrate a story I would like to listen to.

It was awesome!
