The Quick and Dirty Guide team is proud to present our guide to electing the president.

So you've managed to win your party's primary election and been nominated to be the most powerful person on earth! Congratulations, but let's talk about what comes next. The road to becoming the president of the United States is long and complicated. Our Founding Fathers liked things that way, too! This guide will explain the ins and outs of how to get elected president, what the Constitution says you can do when you are the president, and how and why what the Constitution says doesn't seem to matter anymore.

Any additional comments?

At under an hour, this book serves as a great way to quickly understand what is often a very confusing election process. Bartlett gives a brief history of the electoral college and it's relation to the popular presidential vote. This is not an "idiot's" or "dummy's" guide. The reader is assumed to be of reasonable intelligence and the book is written for an audience looking to bring themselves back up to speed after too many years away from their high school civics lessons. One thing I really appreciated, the book does not take sides politically. While contentious issues are pointed out and explained, the reader is left to make up their own mind.

The narration was excellent. Simply and straightforward.

Excellent primer on Presidential election process
