If you haven’t read any other books on Dean this one is a good start. However..

A great first read on Dean. If you have read other books on Dean however, you will find this one repetitive. Many stories are directly from interviews done years ago. Not too many surprises. I did like the “Editors Notes” that would correct statements made in error or contradictory, direct witness accounts. This was my first listen audible book about Dean. Very pleasant!
