"Embodied or bodiless, dead or alive, regardless of my current shape or guise, I hereby swear to always oppose evil and defy fear in protection of humankind...."

Once Grey's true identity becomes known, the giant shadow of his past spreads its wings behind his back, summoning the immortal troops onto the Esplanade in order to fulfil the ancient oath of the First Legion.

Still, no one likes sharing power. The City Archons are no exception. Grey and his followers are branded as rebels and traitors, triggering a fratricidal war in humanity's last refuge....

Innovative, fresh ideas very good read. Should be a mini series. Both of my daughters love this story so I reached all generation

Through out the series he underestimates his opponents. Through his inaction he hurts the one he supposedly cares about. Plot armor allows for the eventual save by some means. Even his AI apoloizes for its mistake. So even through it all its an underdog story. I am invested in the series. I just hope he gets smarter since supposedly his first life was. That one is a big one for me to get by. Maybe the author will contrive an explanation for that too.

Stupid MC!

story line is ok. he always gets his butt whipped and then somehow wins in the end. It gets quick annoying.

I have a review right here and it’s incredibly important. It could alter the fate of humanity, but I see that you’re busy eating a burrito, so I can tell you later. Oh? You’re finished with the burrito but now you have to use the bathroom? That’s fine, we can discuss this ultra important stuff whenever you feel like it, there’s literally nothing but the threat of destruction to our entire race on the line.

I have a review of this book.
