Though they have the shortest of conversations, an attachment is born that will influence both their paths.

And what paths those will be! While Revolution is afoot in France, Sido is being used as the pawn of a fearful villain who goes by the name Count Kalliovski. Some have instead called him the devil, and only Yann, for Sido’s sake, will dare to oppose him.

Not What I Thought

When I looked up this title I specifically typed in Tom Hiddleston because I knew he narrated the version I first listened to. I was extremely disappointed to discover that this was not his version. And feel like I got cheated.

Great helped

I never actually use time to read the book so getting the audiobook saved alot of time. that way I could read by cleaning walking to school eating etc. Im so happy I didn't have to read it myself. And the narrator made different voices for different characters which also was a big help.

Where's the Abridged Version?

I wanted to purchase the abridged version, which is only available in the U.K. While I don't normally do abridged versions, this one is read by Tom Hiddleston, who is a phenomenal actor. While this version is fine, the narrator is very dry and lacks emotional depth.

Enticing

I could not stop listening, in the car, getting ready for the day, in bed to sleep. This book left me wanting more. So sad it ended I want a sequel......!!!!!!!

terrible

I couldn't get past the first chapter. The narrator was boring as is, but her French was even more horrendous. and I was really excited for this book...
