Great Story!

I really enjoyed book 2 of The Reign of Mathias. Its an easy listen that keeps you interested in the story and not slogged down by too much detail. Its fast paced and I am looking forward to the next book in this series!

Book Two Is Just As Good! 📚

The Chronicles of Mathias is a three book series. In the second book, The Reign of Mathias, Mathias devises a plan, along with a young woman named Fayette, to take over the kingdom. Author, Robert McDermott, doesn’t disappoint with this book.

Narrator, Cai Lonergan, did a pretty good job. At times it seemed a bit over the top, but I think he will improve with more time and more experience.

Great read, great series

The Reign of Mathias (The Chronicles of Mathias Book 2), my fourth read/listen from author Robert McDermott. I don't restrict myself to a particular genre. I'm a sucker for anything with memorable characters! Narrator Cai Lonergan’s narration added to the book’s enjoyment. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible versions I was able to follow along while being read to. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I look forward to the sequel, Daughter of Mathias The Chronicles of Mathias, Book 3. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Mathias the Emperor

Mathias is now the Emperor with Fayette his Empress by his side. Once again friends and alliances are tested, treachery, and conspiracy are the beginning of war. This second book is full of action and suspension. A great story and leaves this listener waiting for the final end to know the rest of the story of Mathias.
