Started well but

Turned into a fantasy story that could be any where not in space

A great expansion

Frankly, I thought it was almost perfect; my only complaint is Jarrett's similarity to Aran in that both were unassuming, average or below average individuals with nothing special about them. The difference is that Aran was specifically chosen for that reason, Jarrett sort of lucked his way in (so far, anyway) and that distinction is something I appreciate.

Lot of fun and completely absorbing!

If you don't read this box set, too bad for you as you should. If you are looking for a melancholic simple story to bide some time with then this is probably not for you because it takes you in and then refuses to let go. Magic infused personal gear, and weapons, I like it! Thank you to the author.

Fun Story

Filled with action, humor, and break the fourth wall. The main character much like Deadpool knows the reader is there. The cameos are cool as well while not breaking the story. Overall it seems like actual RPG game being written about afterwards.

Amazing

Absolutely love this Series and all by books by Chris fox! Very first, Series is probably my favorite. only problem I have is the order of the books. All the prequels would be great but I have to sit down and figure out the order to read them and I don’t have to time to do so. I even tried googling it with no avail. This is my second time reading this Series I thought I was reading them in the correct order then I hear the end of this book that there is a
prequel that flows seamlessly into this set of books:( I wish you would’ve said that first. Other than that it’s all amazing
