Follow a reluctant wife and her excited husband through two humorously conflicted years of RV travel.

He wanted to go; she wanted to stay. They both learn, grow, and change as a new level of freedom evolves.

This audiobook is lighthearted and humorous but at the same time serious. While not a how-to book, it gives lots of basic information about RVing. And while not a travelogue, it touches upon many travel destinations in the United States and Canada. On deeper levels, the audiobook is about marital relationships, retiring and getting old, and finding a new kind of freedom through a minimalistic lifestyle.

After listening to this audiobook, you’ll never again look at one of those huge monstrosities driving down the road in quite the same way. The audiobook answers questions for non-RVers and triggers chuckles of recognition from experienced RVers.

There are many humorous stories in this book but so much swearing that took away from the joy of reading it.

Wonderful stories but could go without the swearing.

It gets hard to listen to after while when she’s always complaining about one thing or another.

She’s insufferable!

I never heard so much complaining & whining from a first person memoir. Her attitude did not improve until the last ten minutes of the book. As a happy RV-er, I hope I never meet her at an RV park. I’m sure she & her insensitive husband would not consider me one of “their type people”.

Unbearably whiny
