Curtis Aisling has narrowly escaped death—or so he thinks. Fleeing Los Angeles and a broken engagement, he heads to the desolate desert town of Coronado, New Mexico, hoping to borrow money from his sister and outrun a past that won’t stop chasing him.

Coronado is little more than dust and silence, save for one crumbling mansion on the outskirts of town. Inside lives 92-year-old Veronica Meeks, once a woman of influence, now lost in the fog of what locals call “the reminisce”—a mind adrift in memories. Curtis’s sister and her partner care for the reclusive matriarch, but Veronica doesn’t even seem to know he's there.
Then Curtis begins seeing things no one else can. Once-empty rooms transform, echoing with ghostly music and shadows of lives long gone. The deeper he digs, the more he uncovers of Veronica’s strange history—her rumored ties to the occult, her secrets buried in time. And when he begins witnessing pivotal moments from her past firsthand, Curtis realizes he’s not just observing history… he’s being drawn into it.

Now, with reality fraying at the edges and each vision pulling him deeper, Curtis must find a way back—or risk becoming just another ghost in Veronica’s story.

And somewhere behind it all, the bullet he dodged may still be coming for him.
