Great Read!

I loved this book! The Reveal by Megan Crane is a dystopian romantasy. I decided to read this book because I got an arc of the second book, The Reckoning and wanted to get an understanding of the world before I jumped into the second book and I am so glad I did!

I loved the characters and the day-to-day struggles of living in a post-apocalyptic world with not only zombies but all the other "fairy tail monsters" humans didn't know about before the reveal. it remained an easy read while touching on subjects like addiction, grief and solo caregiving. I felt the romance between winter and Ariel was a little rushed and jumbled in the beginning but who could resist a 2500 year old vampire that shatters your world without even getting your pants off amirite?

Overall, a solid 4 star read and I am looking forward to reading the next installment!

A super fun monster romance. This book had me in its clutches from start to finish. The narrator did a great job!

as I was listening, all of a sudden there would just be orgasms. she's standing there and he kind of bites her and she's coming? I enjoyed the story but wish there was more story. the spice scenes didn't make sense and felt like they were thrown in and made a premiere spot out of no where.
