Decent Story, Okay Narration

After coming down from an all-rounder series, this was a decent listen, especially for the length w/1 credit. Narrator was okay. Her voice had little inflection, and it was difficult to tell chapter/scene breaks.
This story was creative, but many times, my mind wandered, and when I woke up from my drift, I really didn't feel the need to back up to see if there was anything I missed.
Maybe when you finish an absolutely stunning series, that hits all the targets in your mind, heart, and soul, the next series pales in comparison automatically. Like a rebound book situation.

A.L. Knorr is one of my favorite authors and she delivered her again! I love the stories and worlds she creates! Do yourself a favor and read/listen to this one!

Story is very good

Great story as always when A.L.Knorr is involved! I did have a hard time following with the accent of the narrator

Great story, didn't love this narrator

As with the other series Ive listened to by this author, I found the story entertaining and it held my interest. Overall, this was probably my least favorite installment, but it was absolutely still worth the listen! The voice acting felt pretty flat and oftentimes monotone, with moments of greatness sprinkled in.
