Meanwhile, Tilly is faced with a life-altering discovery that calls everything she knows into question. As past meets present, Tilly and Ruth struggle to find redemption and embrace acceptance. Can they face the future in the light of a past they can't undo.

If you could sum up The River in three words, what would they be?

This book is beautifully written and well read. The only thing I disliked was the reader's many yawns during the reading. If she's tired she should rest and come back to it. It took a little something from it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ruth. Because I like her name. All of them were good.

Which character – as performed by Christina Moore – was your favorite?

Ruth. She bought forth the character's sweet nature.

If you could rename The River, what would you call it?

Not sure right now but I don't like the title given it.

Very enjoyable clean story.

I very much enjoyed the craft of the writing, and the performance was outstanding. I could really hear the various voices in Eden Valley.

I love Beverly Lewis' books. She knows how to take you to that Farmhouse and gives you a peaceful experience while you read.

I’ve read and listened to many of Beverly Lewis books. THIS one was my favorite! I’ve cried, laughed and cried some more. I usually can figure out the ending before I’m finished but this one had me til the end. I would LOVE for a second book on this!
