Great book!

I have this book on hardcover, have started reading twice, but life gets too busy for me and 8 found it hard to finish. then I got this audible app. and I finally was able to finish this book! I really loved the storyline. it is very well done. almost like it could have really happened this way. The Robe...I wonder what was the fate of that garment and the fate of the soldier who won it. I Giess I will find out on the next life. for now...this story satisfies that curiosity with great imagination.

Delivered more than I expected

This book was really good. It brought to life charecters from the Bible that you would have never given a second glance and gave them motivations you might never have considered. This was one I could not out down.

Quickly became my favorite book

Truly an amazing story that is honestly beyond words. Narrator is not great but tolerable.

This book would help with many problems

This book would help with so many of the world's problems if people would simply adhere to its message. Inspiring message and a fresh prospective on Christianity. A must read. listening was slow.

An inspirational Classiic

Reading the Robe in these days helped me to reflect on what it means to suffer for righteousness sake. This was just fiction but written to reflect a time when believers didn’t have the written Word. A view of what it must have been like for those early Christians. Even then we get a glimpse of the keeping power of our mighty God. We see that thru the centuries He has never failed the children of God.
