Loved everything about it!

From start to finish, I was hooked. Such a beautiful story and tribute to a dark time in history, that ends with so much sunshine! Loved the narrator. Loved the writing. Overall 100/10

Love the story woven within the history. Would definitely recommend I enjoyed hearing stories of our history

The nazi atrocities at the beginning almost made me put it down. thankfully, the majority of the book was mystery without violence

Engaging story!

I enjoyed the dual storyline and unraveling the mystery of Sophie’s story. I do wish it hadn’t started with her arrest, as I felt it spiked the impact of her story. It was a compelling read, though. The Nazi atrocities were hard to take in because we know they were so real for so many.

The plot twists....several times!

It was fantastic and the narration was so well done. I kept wondering if any of the story is true, always a good sign for me.
