Okay. I realize this is Virtual Voice. Just put it in 1.2 speed and you’ll quickly forget about the VV. This P&P variation is wonderful! It’s a brand new take on our favorite canon characters. The story is something I’ve not seen in other P&P variations. The characters are well developed.

Life and circumstances were different in the early 1800s. Expectations. Reputations. All of it. This variation is so realistic of what life must have been like, and the decisions that had to be made in order to live, in order to save an ill sister, in order to keep a sister’s reputation in tact so she can make an eligible match.

One *advisory* I need to make is that there are a few parts that are mature audiences only. I loved the entire book, and I believe those parts were important for the storyline. But, in case there is a reader or listener who might want to fast forward thru those sections, consider yourself advised.

I highly recommend this story. Bravo to the author.

This was a very good story, good characterization and well written humor. It just could have been so much better with a narrator. This computer generated narration mispronounces a number of words, has no inflection at all in characters or conversation conversations. It’s just a disappointment. It needs to be refined much better before it’s used. If you can suffer through it, the story is good.

Could have been much better with a narrator.

This book was never boring. I enjoyed the conversations between Elizabeth and Darcy. This book addresses some important topics about society. There is one particularly spicy scene for mature audiences only. But also not overflowing with scenes of intimacy. I would have loved a HEA for Georgiana, but it was lacking in that aspect.

Interesting mistress scenario

Interesting twisting story. So sad in the beginning but keep going. Hate the Virtual voice. Still calling Rosings as Rossing. And other words.

Ruin of Elizabeth? Oh no!

The dialog is witty and engaging, far better than your average JAFF. There is genuine feeling and a realistic balance of happiness and sadness. Yes, the plot at times is illogical and the virtual voice mispronounced many, many words. Still well worth a listen!

Well Done
