I'll start off by saying I never write reviews, I don't know why I just don't. Moving forward i would like to make an effort to do more, but this book/series is definitely worth taking a moment to praise in hopes that other listeners will be eager to devour it!

As for the book and series itself the best way to describe it is just WOW! I've read and listened to hundreds if not thousands of books and not once did I ever come as close to tears as I did in the final chapters of the ruins! The story arc kept me entertained from start to finish, the characters felt real and believable and of course Sean Runnette did his usual amazing narration.

One last thing, PLEASE bring us back to Brighton for a checkup on Fitz and the gang, even a single stand alone would help fill this void in me for more!

P.S I'll be checking out Dusty's Diary next, it'll be interesting to see this world from the beginning.

Perfect Marriage

I have read a lot of excellent novels in my years, and never written a review. I was unsure about this series when I listened to the sample and thought that it would be predictable and trite. I can happily say I was wrong. This book is a perfect marriage between believable and fearful and hopeful, nothing trite or predictable about that! After 10 books, it would be easy to think you would want to begin a new story by a new author with new characters and new adventures; instead, I find myself wondering just how far these characters went, or is it will go since this is a future not yet decided. I would say I highly recommend this book to you, but I don’t know you and you don’t know me. So instead, I will say to TW Piperbrook, I highly recommend that you reconsider the end of the series and tell us more. Thank you for 10 great reads!

Thank you so much TW for creating such an amazing world with equally amazing characters. I have followed this series starting from Last Survivor's (including every Contamination book)...and have loved, hated and been touched in some way by these characters. Just amazing...I could not sleep many nights mainly because I was so drawn into this world. I am beyond sad this has ended - for now? =)

I encourage everyone to please take this journey he maps out for us and enjoy the ride. It will touch you in ways you may not think of. Start with the Last Survivor's for a full effect, it is worth it.

I very much enjoyed the series. Was a little upset with Bray’s death. I would love to see William return to Brighton and find others he once knew and his sister.
