Rules of Inheritance by Claire Bidwell Smith was the January bookclub pick for #zibbysvirtualbookclub and it is an extraordinary memoir. The author’s writing style and honesty make this book so very special. Her portrayal of grief will speak to anyone who has dealt with any form of grief. None of us will be immune to loss in this life, and the author's story and honesty in her own journey with loss is heartbreaking and healing all at once. I felt inspired by it. The author chat yesterday was very special and I was excited to learn that this older book (first published 2012) has been picked up for production.

This was one of the best memoirs I have ever read. I couldn't wait to listen to more and thought the book was beautiful. I loved it.

A little hard to follow along as author jumps around time wise, but overall a nice listen
