Publishers Weekly Review of The End of Russia’s War in Ukraine- “Halstead’s impressive fourth Russian Agents thriller avoids the shopworn conventions of the genre…. Fans of character-driven spy novels will be rewarded.”

Most interesting perspective- I hate reading books out-of-sequence, but I 'accidentally' read Book 5 before I even knew this was a series. I enjoyed it so much I bought the boxed set...books 1 through 4. They were excellent. Not too much over-the-top, totally implausible action (not that there's anything wrong with that), well plotted, and with characterization that drew me in.

The central premise of these spy thrillers takes the position of the Russian side, with the American side being represented, yes, but not as the main thrust of the stories. It makes for a very interesting and refreshing perspective. Is it mega accurate? Is it truly realistic? Who knows... but it is a change of pace which made a novel change from the usual template. Well worth the $4.99.”

Great technothrillers- Very glad I stumbled onto this series. Just finished the first book, and really enjoyed it. Interesting scenario, the right level of technical detail, and a great twist to show it from the Russian perspective.”

Super thriller series- The whole series of books makes excellent reading, and so much fact weaved in with the fiction makes for a realistic read. Brilliant, can’t wait for the next!”
