A planet similar to ours is invaded and sacked. .
Do they retaliate with full force and turn their economy from agricultural to weapons manufacturing?
Before the attack, they believed in forgiveness, second chances, social integration, and mind manipulation to improve a person's success and self-esteem. Their crime rate proved it worked. The criminals were reintroduced into society and went on to live a high-quality life.
Suddenly, post-apocalyptic survival was rudimentary. The people of Triolux North struggled for food, understanding, and dignity.
As the old poem goes, "An eye for an eye, it was the only thing on their mind. And they're not going to stop until everyone's blind." That may have been the mantra for half of Triolux North. Others were not so hot-headed and needed time to digest a response.
If you like your sci-fi deep into a complicated issues, action, and suspense, you'll enjoy this tale.
Here are a few 5-star reviews.
Gripping Read!
A sci-fi thriller with a philosophical slant. Devall's story world sucked me in from the very beginning and kept me turning pages right up to the end.
A Literary Sci-fi with Excellent Exploration
Parable and allegory come to mind when reacting to The Sacking of Triolux North.
Complex, well-built universe and great plot
Richard DeVall delivers an impressive book with so much in it than what we would initially expect from your regular sci-fi book.
