What a great spicy story

I am absolutely loving this book series. Not only is it a great story with great characters but there's some really great love scenes. This book was way better than the first. I'm looking forward to reading the third book.

Cute Story

It’s a cute story. I thought H and Hr had great chemistry. The love scenes were hot. This is my first Sophie Jordan book. I’ll definitely read more of her stories.

I loved this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I love that she was older than him. I loved the intensity and persistence of his love and desire for her. The steamy scenes were well done and I felt their passion.
I was happy for the ending.
The narrator was generally acceptable but I think another narrator could have made the book better. Her pronunciation is very clear which is nice but her style of reading sounds detached. In addition, she Spanish/English accent sounded fabricated and the lead female was supposed to be a fluent Spanish speaker but every time she uttered something in Spanish, it was very unnatural.

Beautiful Unexpected Love

This was a beautiful story of a love finally realized. At first I was less than happy with Colin’s pushy behavior toward Ella and her fear of life. It all became clear as they faced the ton’s judgement and deepened their love. The character development was rushed in some places; perhaps that’s the way of life when someone has to break free of cultural norms to accept who they are. Love chooses you.

Happily, ever after

I really enjoyed this story the way I expected it to go author. She has lots of twists and turns in her stories and I am reading them in order and so farI have really enjoyed them.. if you enjoy going through so many different emotions this author is for you?
