The Schatten

I liked the idea of portals. I like a story about time travel. I like a good mystery. Once I got into this book it had my full attention. I needed to finish it. To me that is what makes a good book.
I loved the Narrator, she reads the book with the eerie voice of the haunted girl perfectly!
But she also can inflect the surprised voice of the girl when needed. She also can change her voice for other characters and make them sound believable.
I would recommend this book to other readers with the same interests of me. This is definitely not for just Romance readers. Looking forward to the next book by the author. Also looking forward to any other books by the Narrator.

Twist

This book really sucked me in. Slow at first but worth it. The end had a real twist that really makes me want more.

Fabulous story and excellent narration

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. I loved the visualizations it conjured and emotions it made me feel.

a car ride with an unknown destination

there is some aspects of the story which i can summarize as confusing, off kilter, an acid trip across experiences that roam through time and space. yet somehow i first guessed the true horror of this weird little tale and was pleasantly surprised it came together (somehow).

Spooky and Suspenseful Thriller

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This book is filled with suspense, horror, family strife, and psychological manipulation. The narrator was excellent, and brought the characters to life in the eeriest way. This book had my skin prickling throughout, and I couldn't stop listening until the end. I highly recommend this book!
