Now that she’s accepted her psychic gifts, Aly’s determined to solve the mystery of her sister-in-law’s death. Unfortunately, between work, starting classes, and her brother’s unwillingness to find the truth, Aly’s having trouble getting answers. Then Aly’s academic advisor and favorite professor turns up dead.

Professor Zimm was one of the school’s most beloved teachers. Who would want to kill her? The professor who could make tenure in her absence? The privileged student who hates having to retake the class? The rich girl who’s determined to get an A at all costs? There’s no shortage of suspects, but Aly’s running out of time to find the killer before they find her.

I got into audiobooks when my sister shared Barbara Rosenblatt reading the Elizabeth Peters series. I love this narrator and her many voices.

Fabulous narrator

I was loving the first four books, but a plot twist that will never correct itself??? I will not read anything else this author writes. She ruined a storyline!!!!!

Loved 4 books. But 5 plot twist has me fuming.

the first book was pretty decent. It did have moments where I wondered why she kept talking and not getting to the point. It got worse with this book. When the owner of the shop she worked in passed out she spent a half an hour talking about how she felt and being totally self-absorbed as opposed to trying to help this person. I want to read the third book but I don't have the time or the inclination. I'd rather have the book be shorter and more concise than have this Meandering Odyssey of nothingness.

semi entertaining but it Rambles
