Loved it!

A wonderful listen about family all trying to figure life out together. Secrets, sneakiness, important info not shared, health issues, wanting to be strong and independent, years and years of pent up guilt and some wonderful love stories thrown in. Such a great listen.

Cape Sanctuary

This is the first Thayne novel I have listened to or read. The setting is beautiful. I often select stories with a seashore background.
The characters are well developed, but quite predictable, but I enjoyed getting to know each of them.

However, the author uses coarse language that I found unnecessary and distracting to the serene setting. Although Thayne refers to biblical ideas, some of her characters state philosophies that are opposed to biblical truths,

I almost stopped reading when I encountered the first coarse word, but I wanted to give the novel a fair chance.
The narrator is superb!
Will I choose another Thayne novel? Probably not.

Ms. Thayne never disappoints! I couldn't stop listening! I started the audiobook one afternoon and listened all the way through!

Wonderful Story

This book should definitely be a Hallmark Movie!!! Very sweet story. An easy listen while I knit and relaxed. Looking forward to to many more.
