Great followup to the original Jungle Book but Alan Munro doesn't read this nearly as well as the guy who did the Amazon Classics Edition Jungle Book reading. The narration is tedious, lacks energy, and there's little attempt at doing voice acting.

Great story, not so good narration

I found the sound quality of the reader quite uneven - fast, slow, dropping too quiet. It was not a comfortable listen.

I like Kipling, but...

After first listening with delight to the fabulous dramatization of Richard Kipling's "The Jungle Book: The Mowgli Series", I immediately selected Book Two, which I do not recommend. This reader was so monotonously boring that I couldn't endure past chapter 3. Honestly, Alan Munro made the story difficult to pay attention and comprehend the narrative. in addition, I thought Book 2 would pick up where the first left off, but it does not.

Disappointing
