"The Secret History of Bloody Bill The Truth Finally Uncovered " isn't just a neo-western; it's a literary experience—a what-if dream that dares to defy history and logic in equal measure. It's violent, it's funny, it's outrageous, and above all, it's immensely entertaining. Warr proves that when it comes to storytelling, he's in a league of his own, playing by his own rules. So, sit back in your Lazy boy, pour yourself a glass of cold beer, and enjoy the ride. Just be aware that historical accuracy has taken a backseat, been tied up, and told to shut the hell up while Warr takes us on a joyride through his imagination—without seat belts or guardrails. This book should of been titled; My fairytale of Bloody Bill Anderson. He threw in some historical facts and names, but that is as far as it got. He did no justice to any of the real folks in his book or actually explain their lives. Also used characters from old Western and classic movies as people that did not fit into the story. The book also intertwined outlaws from different times and locations that never or would of never crossed paths as friends. It is hard to appreciate a book that is titled; The secret history of Bloody Bill Anderson, when there is hardly any actual history.

I gave narrator three stars. Three stars as a reward for getting through several pages of simile after senseless simile without gagging. I could not finish listening to this book because of the similes and metaphors and just pure melodrama. This is written like a poor work of fiction . I really question the authors legitimacy as a historian.

Master of melodrama and senseless similes.

AI narration sucks in any form. This started okay with some factual information but steered into the ditch quickly. The book just turned ridiculous and kept digging the hole deeper. Crindeworthy to the point that I had to stop listening.

pure ridiculous fiction.
