The final chapter of the Outlands trilogy

Against all odds, Jett Lasting survived his exile in the Outlands. The tides are shifting but the conflict is far from over. If he's ever going to return home and free Dios from the clutches of the Patriarch, he's going to need help and lots of it. Everyone offers it. Who can he really trust? What good is trading one tyrant for another?

The domes are failing. This new revelation forces a choice worse than any he's ever faced.

Fantastic conclusion to the series. Victor is still one of the smartest man out there and he always 20 step ahead of everyone. But I have to ask, was the loss worth it? There so many people, innocent people who will killed needlessly and Victor was basically directly responsible for many deaths. I feel in the end there should be some kind of strife with the friends, even if it all worked out in the end.

However, I enjoyed the book as it was, an end. Though I remember the author saying it might be four books but oh well, it was a solid end.

Jet, really grew as a character. I’m glad he was thinking more about people than his friends in the end because that’s development.

Action was always amazing and I did like how it felt everything was so close to working until it all crashed and burned in the end. Then finally working.

A great trilogy, I recommend the whole series for anyone looking for a sci-fi dystopian series. It’s fantastic!

Does the end justify the means?
