solid first book

it's a good book, decent pacing, interesting characters with good developement. the author isn't afraid to suddenly kill someone or change pace. a nice little adventure book with plenty of combat and a good story and dialog. I do wish the main characters were alittle more confident, but few small things that bothered me 8/10 will listen to another by this author
