Mabel “May” Levesque has been alive longer than most. In her 108 years on Earth, she’s died many times, always returning somewhere new. You see, when she was 34, she encountered a faerie tree and made a wish for immortality, and that gift came with a curse. She gets seven lives to live, no more.

Now she remains the same age, seeking ways to give her special life meaning and trying (unsuccessfully) to avoid using up her remaining lives. Along the way, she has met many interesting people and helped several with very unique problems—hauntings, witches, and the other side.

Recently, she’s met a man that has his own secret: he is half-fae, and being hunted. Can May help to save him? Or will she learn that seven isn’t such a lucky number after all?
