maybe my favorite of his so far

it's hard to give 5 stars to a novella butaybe I should for what it is. I wish it had a little bit more during his escape. I wish he encountered the creatures more closely. the writing and words he uses are wonderful. some parts are a little hard to picture but it makes you think alot

Excellent Narration of the Eerie Story

I have enjoyed the Dark Adventure Radio Theater version of this story and decided to listen to the original. A man visits the strange village of Innsmouth and gets more than he bargained for. The wonderful Eduardo Ballerini superbly narrated this haunting story and the ending was quite the twist. Enjoyed it very much.

The ideas

Love craft is kind of a terrible writer but the performance is really well done, the reader was clearly very into it. The ideas here are really cool but they’re just held back too much by love crafts terrible prose.

Boring. Boring. Boring.

I gave it a good try, but couldn’t tough it out any longer. Will try other works from this author. .
