A fun read, would like more of this world.

I didn’t know what to expect, having never read this author before and it turned out to be pretty fun. It definitely isn’t for everyone and some people might consider it dark (as if that’s a bad thing?!).

Be warned, this book will drop you into a foreign world … laws and societal rules are different here. Things you consider unsavory or sexist may just be the ways of life for this particular species and society.

That said, I definitely did have to remind myself of that a few times in order to be comfortable wrapping my head around some of their policies … and that’s okay! I don’t read just to endure the same things, views, laws, attitudes, etc. Regardless of whether the reader can or cannot stomach this particular trope, the writing and character development are good, in my opinion. I would read more from this author and I’ll likely read on in this series.

There are definitely characters to both love and root for and hate here.
Lyric is pretty likable as a strong-willed female who really doesn’t take any ... uh ... stuff. 😉

The action scenes are intense and full of drama and excitement, all conflict-fueled.
The steamy scenes are fairly well done, not exactly like everyone else’s and that’s not an easy feat. They are very abundant though … while I’ve nothing against them, I could do with a bit more action, drama, even everyday life and a bit fewer steamy scenes. It seemed like every few minutes there was another one.


3.5 stars.

I loved The She Wolf Games this first book packed a punch in interesting scenes and characters. And the narrator is really good for it.

The narrator is perfect for this story. I love the story. The twists and turns keep you on your toes. And the guys are hot!

I love love love this story it is well written and dynamic characters! the narator does a fantastic job!

Loved this book.

I think about the only thing that could have made this better is hearing POV from the guys. Other than that I love how the fmc is bada$$ and doesn’t back down. The pack dynamics make me happy but sad about the end of the book.
