The Shill

Struggling actress Jane Innes is seduced by a handsome new arrival in her acting class. He makes a proposition. He admits he's a con man and needs Jane to pose as a rich, carefree heiress to fulfill her part in his intricate scam. Outstanding!

Loved this Trilogy, I listened almost straight through the 8 hours in one day. A great story, full of twists. I first heard Shepphird's stories on Alfred HItchcocks mystery magazine podcast, and was happy to see he had a couple books here on Audible. Looking forward to the next one! Great narration too.
