Color me surprised!

Thought I knew early on but I didn’t, although I’d really like a better description of the WHY.

Good story, great narration.

Twisted and intriguing

An easy and enjoyable read that left we stunned to the end. Not sure why is hasn’t gained more attention!

Narration is stellar.. but

Everything is well executed, its the basic premise that annoys me. it’s one I find quite often that makes American thrillers hdifferent than British thrillers. You have a right to self defense.. you have a right to save yourself if someone is trying to kill you. That bugs me. I haven’t given the plot away but is the mindset of the main characters that they are “ killers” ... it’s far fetched, unless the laws are that different in the UK. I’m in the US I can guarantee if I kill someone who is attacking me I’m not going to get into trouble. We have survival instincts. Humans naturally fight back.

Good psychological horror mystery at its best. Worth a listen. Got it while it was free and will listen to the authors others.
