This story, told in rhyming verse, is of a young woman who lives a lonely, secluded life high on the top of a hill. One day, an exotic peddler approaches her home, eager to sell her his wares, When she spies a shiny pair of boots with silver wheels on the soles, she is intrigued and makes a trade with the peddler; a dwarf. Upon these magical silver wheels, she embarks on a journey down into the woods where she meets a colorful band of skate dancing woodland creatures who teach her there is much more to her wheels than just to glide on.
