Get ready for a scandalous Regency romp. Meet the Sinning Flynns!

Rory Flynn, grandson of the Duke of Savernake, is embittered by his family’s reputation as a wealthy family from Irish stock. They are hated by the Ton but accepted because of their links to the duke. Rory has a list of those who have offended his family the most and he intends to do something about it.

Enter the night of nights, the annual event Polite Society anticipates—the dazzling Stag Ball given by the duke himself.

The worst offender against Rory’s family is none other than the man his mother jilted those years ago, the Earl of Exford. He’s never forgiven Lady Flynn for breaking their engagement even though he managed to marry well. Knowing the earl and his daughter will be at the Stag Ball, Rory is determined to compromise the daughter to punish the earl for his sins against his mother. But what he didn’t count on was a chance encounter with a sweet, beautiful woman who pulls him off his quest.

As he goes in pursuit of Lady Edith “Edie” Rissington, Rory finds himself entrenched in a world where her secrets are darker than his own and egregious sins are something that can never be forgiven. Will Edie forgive him his family’s past – or can Rory forgive her for withholding hers?

It’s a night of scandals and secrets at the Stag Ball!

Kathryn has written another delightful story. It did my heart good to listen to Rory and Edith’s life. I jumped with joy to see that the de Wolfe and other great knights of England’s finest households were in it.
Brad Wills is the finest of narrators. The combination of Kathryn and Brad is my go to book. I think of them as a combination of the finest wine. I can’t wait to get the story of Rory and Edith’s son. Will he be a rake and pirate like his father and grandfather? I sure hope so!

Loved it!

Narration …. Just shoot me….so awful. Bad. Have I made myself clear and dummied enough words?

The godawful narration. How do they continue working.

Good story. Rory has the steadfast quality I appreciate in a hero. He’s also flawed, charming, dangerous and surprisingly honest. I enjoyed the book enough that I will be looking forward to the next one in the series.

New author to me
