The goal of this book is to provide hope to apostates and to let them know that they are not alone. When I was struggling with my loss of faith, there were no organizations in existence to provide support. There are many who don't have the resources to connect with The Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain and their North American counterpart, because they are still very isolated.
This book is a way to open a window into the world of ex-Muslims that is still a mystery to most people living in Western countries. Due to this being an autobiography, it also has a lot of personal details that are not directly linked with religion. The progression to its goal is gradual, but like any journey, we find meaning in the details.

What did you like best about The Sin of Greed? What did you like least?
The unique construction where a prose chapter is followed by a poetry chapter.Would you recommend The Sin of Greed to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes as it provides insight to an Islamic teenager growing up in both Egypt and the United States.Have you listened to any of Becky White’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
no.What else would you have wanted to know about Sarah Iskafy’s life?
I would like to know more about why the father changed jobs.Any additional comments?
Rebecca White successfully oscillates from storyteller to poetry reader which requires cadence and emphasis on lyrical passages with her voice. A pleasant audio experience!Sarah's Memoir

Learned facts about Muslim culture that I didn't know before. The book was narrated tastefully, her voice was easy to listen to. I would recommend this book to friends.
