I loved everything except for the virtual narration. the alliteration and pronunciation of a lot of words was terrible. and there was just no emotion. it was missing my favorite things about Audible narration

Good story with iffy narration

The story was good enough to push past the virtual voice narration. It was disconcerting to have odd pauses and inflections let alone the dropping of words at the end of sentences. The book would be much more enjoyable with an actual reader who understands the story.

A Good Series poorly narrated.

I read the three books in this series decades ago and wanted to listen to it with my mother. The story is good- a story of resilience and sisterhood. But the virtual narration left much to be desired. I found myself correcting the voice inflection and the mispronunciation of phrases and words. I have purchased all three books, but may not bother to listen to them.
