Great Mystery!

Amazing book!!!!! I find it difficult to find a murder mystery book without being completely dark, or meant for children, but this book finds a great medium! Loved listening to it, would recommend!

The story was PHENOMENAL.

I love the characters, the Magic, the story. One of my favorite books and I’m looking forward to reading the next book!!

Suspense!

What a great book! I love the magic system and the mechanics behind it. The story has so many twists and turns it was always keeping me on my toes. What a great read. I can’t wait to see what else is in store.

Engaging first novel!

J. Porter does a fantastic job at hooking the reader and keeping them wanting more- between the world building and engaging magic system, this story is a compelling novel that is an incredible first publish for this author. I was eagerly listening all weekend!
The performance by Michael Kramer was phenomenal, as always.

Wasn’t expecting this to be so good

I bought it as part of a Black Friday discount not expecting much. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend
