Gwen Shepherd Davis wants to rebuild a forgotten spaceport. A ruthless corporation wants to take it from her. Losing means losing everything she’s fought to build.

When ex-corporate exec Gwendolyn “Gwen” Shepherd Davis walks away from the corporate maze, she buys an abandoned spaceport and stakes everything on making it work. But in a galaxy where power plays are scored with ship cannons and corporate espionage, Gwen’s dream of independence won’t just be challenged — it’ll be taken hostage.

Space pirates circling the trade lanes. A rival firm itching to claim her port. A ghost from Gwen’s past who bears a deadly grudge. And a team of misfit allies who must prove that one woman’s grit and one rust-belt station can stand up to the high-stakes universe.

Fast-paced, sharply-witted, with characters you root for and villains you love to hate, The Spaceport Gambit delivers gritty space-opera thrills with a heart and a grin.

I really enjoyed this sci-fi book, and I look forward to seeing future installments. It was an easy, quick listen, and after the first chapter 2, I got used to the artificial reader.

I also got the opportunity to meet the author at a convention and found him to be a pretty cool guy very happy to purchase this book and support him.
