Father Jeremiah Gibbs is a world famous ghost hunter. He has helped thousands of people throughout his life, and saved them from countless vengeful hauntings. He fought for many years alongside his beautiful wife, until the day she died during a hunt. A day that he has never truly recovered from.

Father Jeremiah continues to help people, and hunts all manner of evil spirits, but he is no longer what he used to be. He finds no other meaning in life, and hunting is the only thing he has left to remind him of his lost love. He blames the evil spirits for the death of his wife, and he will stop at nothing until they are all eliminated. No matter what it takes.

One day, he is assigned by the church to teach and train a young girl by the name of Allison Pope. She’s the daughter of a very important bishop, and even though Father Jeremiah doesn’t like it, he won’t disobey orders. Instead he tries to protect the girl, and keeps her from harm as much as possible. It isn’t enough to keep her from getting involved, however, and that puts them both at risk of danger.

Despite all their knowledge and skills, they eventually find themselves trapped on a case with multiple powerful entities. The ghosts are stronger than anything that Father Jeremiah has ever dealt with before, and the two hunters are in mortal danger as the spirits take complete control.
