As a scientist with a lifelong interest in the spiritual aspects of human nature, I have always been captivated by the teachings and books of Allan Kardec. Having lived in the US for almost half my life, I've observed that despite efforts by various organizations and individuals, Kardec's profound work has struggled to find the widespread appreciation and understanding it deserves.
Reading Alan Chapman's new book brings me a tremendous sense of relief and gratitude; I feel certain he is the right person to bridge this gap. This isn't just another publication—it's the culmination of a demanding project that required his full attention. I am thrilled to anticipate this book sparking vibrant discussions and reaching a new, broader audience that has previously been less accessible to Kardec's ideas.
Kardec was both a dedicated scientist and an enlightened educator who committed his life to the betterment of others, through teaching science and exploring the spiritual world. We are incredibly fortunate to have had a remarkable teacher like Allan Kardec, and equally wonderful individuals like Alan Chapman, who has honored Kardec's legacy by ensuring his work continues to be shared widely!

Long awaited!

the style of writing was a bit difficult to understand, it jumped from dictation to question and answer without any kind of explanation, but once you know whats going on its not so bad.

clear explanation of what spiritism is. great examples, and explanation

A wonderful book! The modern translation is super helpful. I hold a PhD in metaphysics and must say that I picked up new information I have not heard before but helps to fill gaps in knowledge. The content aligns with my twenty years of study of the truth about our reality as conscious beings.

Profound

I went into this book in depth and it gave me more. I got other books that this author wrote and I’m not going to forget how good this was

It was very well put together.

I am going to listen to the original to see if it is this low level. The main narrator sounded like he was reading a kid's book to very small children. Some of the information was good, but it was very distracting to be made to feel like I was in a kindergarten class. If you know someone very low IQ, they would definitely be able to follow along. The material is too advanced for real children, but wow.

It was interesting to hear about the spiritism movement from nearly 200 years ago. I didn't hate the book.

Childlike
