Chuckie and Douggie, two spotted rescue dogs make their furever home in Lakeside Village. When the neighborhood dogs make fun of them, the boys set off to find the purpose for their lives, and the meaning of their spots.

Together with the neighborhood watch owls, gossipping turkeys, and spy squirrels, the boys navigate the neighborhood with its inherent dangers and life lessons to learn the lessons of life and community.

If you love animals, you will love this unruly band of misfit characters trying to find their way through life.

Sounded like a radio drama with all the voices! Fun story!

Loved the narration of the story. All the character voices added to the fun and joy of the story. Delightful to listen to.

Though the story may be aimed at younger listeners, all ages will enjoy the lessons intertwined as well as the playful story. I appreciated the author building a bit of tension and suspense into the dogs dilemma! Fun and heartwarming!
