This is the fourth book in the Morton Farrier genealogical crime mystery series, although it can be enjoyed as a standalone story.

A very good book

I've dabbled in geneaology. It is fascinating so the summary of this book made sense. If you enjoy a good mystery, interesting characters and places, the role of women in the British armed forces together with a touch of wisdom gained with the passage of time... you will like this.

Genealogical historical fiction

Enjoyed the storyline and the basis in actual historical events. Recommend this author and the series of books.

Another Fantastic Story

I really enjoy this series of books. I only wish all of Nathan Dylan Goodwin’s books were in audio format, as my downtime to “read” is limited. I anticipate every dog walk with eagerness to further progress in hearing the unraveling of each genealogical tale!

Wonderful. and Exciting

This is a wonderful and exciting book. I couldn't turn it off. The historical aspects woven into the plot added so much intrigue and suspense and held my attention completely throughout the book. I am fascinated with Mr Goodwin's attention to details. I felt as though I was living the story as I was listening to it. The narration of the book is phenomenal and adds such creativity to the story. I have read almost all of this writer's works and have been spellbound with each one. I'm so happy Morton married the woman of his dreams. What a beautiful ending to the story!!

Another Good One

A great story if a bit confusing at times. I loved the time period it covered and found the twists to be surprising but also very believable.
